Andrea Ribeiro Hoffmann is Lecturer at the Otto-Suhr Institute, Freie Universität Berlin and and Research Fellow of the Kolleg-Forschergruppe „Transformative Power of Europe“, Freie Universität Berlin.  She has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Tuebingen and has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of International Relations of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2003-2008), Guest Teacher and Fellow at the International Relations Department of the London School of Economics (2008-2010), Visiting Professor and Lecturer at the University of Erfurt, Germany (2010-2012) and Visiting Professor at the Freie Universität Berlin (2012-2014).
