Fennet Habte

Fennet Habte studies political science at the Freie Universität Berlin. Fennet is mainly interested in intersectional feminism, postcolonial theory and empowerment from a Black perspective.

She works as a facilitator in historical-political education and leads seminars on intersectionality and Black german history, among other topics. Previously, Fennet completed a voluntary service year in culture at the Max Mannheimer Study Center in Dachau, where she led seminars on NS-history and colonial continuities.

At the Gunda Werner Institute for Feminism and Gender Democracy, Fennet is employed as a part-time student assistant in the online editorial department.
