Videodocumentary: Women fighting for Evironmental and Climatejustice

Natual disasters like droughts or floodings occur releatively often in Brazil. But newly Hurricanes and Tornados appear, which weren't kown in Brazil. Extended cultivation of Monocultures, the deforestation and missing urban management lead to further damages. Affected by the outcomes of the climate change and a failed policy are foremost women and children. The Non-Governmental-Organization (NGO) FASE („Federação de Órgãos para Assistência Social e Educacional” www.fase.org.br) has produced the videodocumentary "Women fighting for environmental and climate justice" with the support of the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation. It shows how women on the countryside and in urban areas try to improve their situation by being geared to ecological principles. Further they are engaged in politics, too.
