UN Resolutions for a Gender-Equitable Security Policy

For the time being, peace work is a particular challenge for civil-society actors.

Gender democracy aims to establish democracy between all genders. It then goes beyond formal equality and although it means recognising difference, it aims to ensure that equal rights and opportunities are nonetheless open to all.

Feminism is a term that unites various, manifold and often contradicting concepts, strategies and movements. Frequently, this leads the term to be used in its plural form: feminisms. Feminism is an enlightening and critical theory, as much as a global political movement with a tradition spanning over 200 years.
