"New Action on Women's Rights" were claimed by nearly 20.000 feminists gathering at the third Nordic Forum in June 2014. Representatives of feminist NGO's from Scandinavia and Denmark discussed women's rights and formulated claims towards their governments.

Not only the twelve critical areas of concern defined at the Fourth World Conference on Women in Bejing 1995 where discussed at the workshops and panels, but new emerging issues were explored, too, among others migration, men, everday sexism, prostitution and art.

According to the European Women's Lobby (EWL), among the five most important claims are: the integration of gender equality in national and regional budgeting, the funding of women's organisations in order to advance gender equality in society, the strengthening of female migrant's rights, the collaboration of governments, employer organisations and trade organisations in order to improve gender equality in terms of waged work, and the prevention of precarious work and the advancement of women in keypositions.

Understanding itself situated within the frame of the 20th anniversary of the Bejing Platform for Action, the Nordic Forum aims at reminding the Scandinavian countries and Denmark, to introduce a gender perspective at every level of society.
