Four Afghan women have been appointed park rangers in order to perserve, together with other rangers, Afhganistans first national park Band-e-Amir. Aside from doing their bit to the conservation of the natural and cultural landscape of Afghanistan, these women challenge gender stereotypes in a country, where only 16% of it's female population work outside the home.
