
Lina Abou-Habib (Lebanon) is Executive Director of the Collective for Research and Training on Development–Action (CRTD-A www.crtda.org.lb ), an organization that works in Lebanon and the Arab region on gender and citizenship, gender and economic rights, and women's leadership and public participation. Abou-Habib is the Senior Advisor for the Women Learning Partnership. She is the Lebanon coordinator of the Equality without Reservation Campaign and has collaborated with a number of regional and international agencies, as well as public institutions, in mainstreaming gender in development policies and practices and in building capacities for gender mainstreaming. Ms. Abou-Habib served on the boards of the Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID) from 2008 to 2012 in her capacity as Treasurer and President. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Gender and Development journal and serves as a MENA advisor for the Global Fund for Women.
