Damayanti Saha — 25, is an independent filmmaker and writer based in Delhi. She is a recipient of the prestigious One World Media Fellowship for 2024. One of 11 early career filmmakers selected from around the world for the program, her documentary explores how a few survivors of bonded labour in India shaped their freedom. Previously in 2023, her documentary about Munmun, India's first woman toto driver won a national competition hosted by BetterIndia.

Damayanti is passionate about storytelling across fiction and non-fiction forms and covers stories exploring themes of gender, caste, labour, politics, and culture. Her work has been published in Blank Noise, Citizen Matters, Dalit Camera, Gauri Lankesh News and Pune Mirror. Damayanti graduated with distinction from the Master of Arts program of the Mass Communication Research Center at Jamia Millia Islamia and prior to that, completed a Bachelor of Arts program at Flame University with a place on the Dean's list.
