Dr. Nasreen Haddad Haj-Yahya holds a doctorate in History from the Tel Aviv University as well as an MA in education and social geography. Her doctoral dissertation researched “The contemporary impact of social space barriers on the inaction and future orientation of young Arabs aged 18–22.”. Haj-Yahya’s areas of expertise include the socio-economic profile of young Arab women and men, representation of the Arab society in public service and decision making processes, their integration in higher education and employment, and Jewish-Arab relations and mixed cities.
