Sharon Otoo, Black British, mother, activist, and author. Editor of the English book series Witnessed, published by edition assemblage. Her first short stories the things I think while smiling politely and Synchronicity were published in 2017 by S. Fischer Verlag. With “Herr Gröttrup setzt sich hin” she won the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2016.
