Vagelis Kosmatos is a psychologist with specialization and many years of experience in gender-based counselling, educational psychology and counselling, and experiential adult education.

He has worked - individually and in groups - in women's counselling centres, parents' schools, kindergartens, schools, detention centres and institutions of the public and private sector.

In recent years, he has been active as head of scientific work and co-founder of Gender Alliance Initiative, an organization dealing with issues of gender, diversity and human rights.
